Responsibilities
- Create 3D models
- Create new design solutions to meet project objectives
- Prepare drawing package and bills of material for release to production
- Support purchasing
- Find alternate products or material when availability or lead time is an issue
- Support production by checking weldments and answering weld or assembly questions
- Utilizing the latest 3D CAD software
Requirements
- Associate degree in a relevant field
- 3 years of modeling and drafting experience
- Proficiency in modeling and drafting with the latest 3D CAD software, including SolidWorks, Inventor or CREO (3+ years preferred)
- Experience and knowledge in documentation for manufacturing
- Strong communication and organization skills
